Had a Great Time
Great location!! The tour bus picks up right in the front of the hotel and was worth the $50 (grayline tours, 2 day pass). The room itself was very clean and very spacious definitely compared to other hotels in NYC. The air conditioning wasn't so great and it was actually very hot at times. There was only one lobby elevator working, but they opened the service elevators to the public. All in all it was very nice! Would come back!

Friday Sept 14 2007, I arrived in NY with my daughter and granddaughter as guests of the Manhattan club to listen to a presentation as to why I should be interested in time sharing here. From the beginning my impression of NY and it's people were negative, and during this presentation my feelings were confirmed. Although our representative was curteous and professional, the same could not be said for the employee in the next cubicle. Her attitude towards a prospective client could not be ignored by anyone else in the room, especially when her remarks and physical confrontation was directed towards a elderly woman was uncalled for. I was upset over this along with my 10 year old granddaughter whom I had remove from the area. This representative should have been removed immediately, which she was not, and was seen the following morning performing her DUTIES.
The Manhattan Club lost out on three prospective buyers because of this altercation. THREE STRIKES AND YOU ARE OUT!!!

What a great time
We stayed here during June and July and can say was dubious following reading various reviews, however we loved it. The hotel staff, yes, were short with us, however helpful to us, probably due to the nature of their job. I was waiting to book in and a "American lady "was complaining that her safe wasn’t working and wanted IMMEDIATE action....... get a grip its a safe surely will wait 15 mins. The room was spacious and clean, yes following a comment the windows were slightly dirty however, it’s Manhattan and 20 floors high can’t be cleaned every day!!!!!!!
The place was central for everything and we hardly were in the room so not as important as if it was in the middle of nowhere.
The only people I saw complain were the Americans maybe they have different standards to the British but I certainly wouldn’t complain about this place and the service.
The lifts yes could be delayed however, they were no way as bad as people state also no air con in the business centre however does ...Read more
