    Well chosen hotel
My friend and I went on a girlie weekend without husbands, chose hotel off internet. After reading some reviews was contemplating cancelling glad I didnt.Check in staff were very courteous and helpful, room was clean and fresh. Two beds not much room to move around in but we were not holding a dance in it.The free breakfast was a bonus and the location was excellent handy for Macys and Empire State. We will certainly go back there.

    A more fair review
OK, I was just there. It is not a 1 or 2, that would be someplace that you would immediately check out of (or decide against checking into). It was $135 per night (AAA), had small rooms, a helpful front desk, elevators fine, breakfast& coffee fine, no odor or smells. Good fast computer center in basement (fine/free) (also a bathroom down there, folks!), don't know about wifi, didn't bring our laptop. Found out now that there was a cool bar/view on the roof. Crud. Very central location. Good parking (left side of street) for Valet. Cheap parking rate $30 for 24 hours. Negatives: rooms small. doors thin/not a good seal so can one will hear hall noises. I still slept ok though, and am a light sleeper. The bed? fair. Room coffee pot disgusting - could see tons of dust in it - tried repeatedly running just water though it to clean it out, but the gobs of crap(?) never stopped coming out. Front desk said they would send another coffee pot up, but I gave up after 15 min. and ... Read more

They seem to hate their job
I would say for their rates at $ 99 is not that bad. They need to fix the elevators since they are very slow. The hallways and lobby does smell really bad. The front desk are not so friendly and it seem that they hate their jobs and does not care so much about customer care.

The guaranteed wifi does not work, so if you count on that free access for business, you won't find it here. The business center doesn't work either. The hallways and lobby smell like something is dead nearby. The coffee is awful. The front desk staff is useless. The only nice people are the housekeepers. Spend your money elsewhere.
