Simply perfect

We stayed 4 nights in Hotel 41 and was a great experience. Clean and tidy room....small, but then we already were aware of that - actually it made it more cosy.....and with temperatures dropping at one point to -10 C, the smaller room was much warmer :o).
The staff were fantatstic, from the front reception to the really cool Bar 41, which doubled as the breakfast room.
No matter what time of day or night you left or arrived, there was always a friendly face or two to greet you and they always had time for a chat - even if it was about the British obsession with the weather :o)
All this and it was slap bang in the heart of Times Square! Would definitely stay there again, anytime.

Great Location, fair accommodation price

Booked through Expedia, room was smaller than if you book through hotel. Room very clean, front staff most helpful. Continental breakfast was okay. Locatin awesome, close to subway, half block. Walking distance to all shows, as well as to Restaurant row.

For the money this is a decent hotel in a prime location. Sure the rooms are small but in NY you dont spend much time in them. Very clean, good service and OK (if repetitive) breakfast.
I'd stay there again

Clean & Middle of Times Square

My friend and I stayed 1 night at Hotel 41. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of our room & professionalism of the staff. The desk clerks were very helpful with directions to attractions. We knew from reading the website that the rooms were small so we were not surprised. We definately would stay there again.

Pleasant but noisy

On arrival the shower was dirty, there was a blown light bulb and no dressing gowns. This was put right, and we were given a complimentary glass of wine as compensation. Room was small for a double, and dark with no view. Our room (204) VERY noisy from bar and also later during the night. Pleasant, but not especially friendly staff. Nice breakfast.
