Terrific for Tourists
The price we paid then was much, much lower than now--only $130 per night, which is about what nearly ANY NY hotel is worth considering the sizes and the fact that few have pools. But this one did have a pool inside a NY AThletics Club, but it was too busy and mostly a lap swimming pool. The room was clean and fresh and everyone was nice. The location is excellent. All was good, but right now the prices are too high (even through Hotwire)--double what we paid. We will stay elsewhere. By the way, Hotwire is no longer a good travel website. Some of the discounts are only $10--big deal for not knowing what the name of the place will be. Their reductions used to be about half, but no more.
