| Convenient; Clean; Courteous |
| We chose the hotel primarily for its convenient location as it's just a few blocks from my sister's apartment. There was a little problem with our reservations but luckily I had my written confirmation. Once the error had been sorted out we were given our key ... we thought we might have been offered at least a glass of water while we waited the 45 minutes or so.
The lobby is small but the little lounge area next to it was quiet and comfortable.
Our room was clean and comfortable, although we did find a magazine in one of the dresser drawers. It was written in Japanese but the actions of the naked people in the photos left nothing to be "interpreted".
The little bar connected to the lobby was a nice treat.
The front desk personnel did not acknowledge our arrivals and departures with even a nod of the head, or respond to our "good morning" or good evening" or finally a "good bye" as we wheeled out our suitcases ... I know it's not a "New York thing" as we've met courteous and responsive people all over the city.
None of these things are major issues with us ... but you asked for a review!! Most important, Yes, we would stay there again ... location, price, general cleanliness were all more than satisfactory. |
