I recently stayed at Carnegie Suites with some friends and we LOVED every minute of our stay. Ali (one of the desk clerks) was so very helpful and friendly we are so thankful to him and to Carnegie for employing such pleasant people. Thanks!

We spent two nights at the Carnegie in January 2004. we wanted a room with a refrigerator, microwave, sink, etc. Since we have two small girls. the place was spotless and very quiet. It cost more that we normally spend for lodging but it was worth it.

Carnegie Suites was perfect for my purposes which were to reconnect with 12 college friends for a long week end in New York. It is conveniently located and well furnished. Continental breakfast was included and there is a grocery store across the street. It is possible to walk to many places from there. We were able to take over a floor of this small hotel and therefore this enabled us to have a dorm like atmosphere moving freely back and forth. We had a photo shoot for Life magazine in the hotel in connection with a book, The Same Sweet Girls, that one of the friends has written about us. The staff were very courteous and helpful. We could not have had a better place for the money. Our group will very likely return there in the future.
