The worst place I have ever stayed
I just got back from Montauk, and had to write this review so it doesn't happen to anyone else. We were traveling with two other couples and had three rooms in total. The rooms were old very old, they smelled musty and they had the worst beds and pillow you could ever imagine. You had to wear socks just so you didn't have to step on the floor. According to the front desk clerk we had the worst rooms at this motel. When the front desk tells you that, can you only imagine how bad they were. We would never ever stay at this motel again. Be aware and be afraid, it looks nothing like their website.

Going Above and Beyond!!
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Albatross Motel on the weekend of February 10th, 2008. We picked the motel at random and were both immediately pleased with our selection. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff, friendly and knowledgeable.
The day we left, they had no problem extending our check-out time by an hour which was very helpful to us.
I accidentally left behind a pair of earrings in the room after I checked out and was promptly contacted later that week by the staff who said that they not only found the earrings but that they would ship them to me at no additional cost! This sort of service and integrity is hard to find these days. I truly appreciate Albatross Motel going above and beyond. I recommend staying at their motel without reservation.

Great service,polite,all staff and members
We have visited Moutauk for years and every year we stay at different places with and without other family memebers. We enjoy all the natural resources,especially fishing (husband/Commercial Fisherman)peace ,tranquilty and services all of the places provided to us and others. However, The Daunt's Motel was a great experience and We recommend it to all those who want to visit Montauk.Its convent to all beaches, stores and the Town.The Family is so wonderful. So pack your bags and relax here for a joyful vacation. Enjoy! Thank-you Looking forward to another vacation soon.....

A Very Nice Place
We've been going to Montauk for about 35 years now, have gone to Daunts for the last several years and continue to do so, its clean, neat, very pleasant, The Daunt family are just the best. Breakfast is served every morning, and its just not a cup of coffe, its bagels, fruit, coffee, fresh baked muffins, just great,
Can't praise it enough, first rate.
