Fall getaway
The wife and I have been going to the Beachcomber in the fall for many years (missed a few autumns due to travel in Europe) when Montauk is peaceful and quiet. The rooms are ample for our needs. The view of the ocean is great. Also, great access to restaurants and shopping in Amagansett and East Hampton.

Great Stay
We had a great stay with our family in June. We had our family reunion there and found the staff to extremely pleasant and accommodating. In addition the rooms we much larger than we anticipated. (Which was great since we had 2 days of rain)

Beachcomber
Musty, old, it is not new at all like the ads say! They don't update it at all. It was built in the early 80's, it's over crowed, the pool is cloudy. Noisy with inconsiderate people with unruly kids. The front desk man is rude but the ladies are nice. Quite a bit of odd ducks too. Good luck. Great location, beautiful view on upper floors. Best & largest rooms are in the back but they are timeshares and most are owened by grandparents who bring every family member. It's nuts for such a small place.
