I am a lawyer out of Albany and usually go to Malone for business trips. My experience was very good. Very friendly staff, clean rooms and affordable price.

This is a 2 (of 5) star motel with very nice staff and is a good value. They were nothing but accomodating and nice. I would recommend Sunset Inn, especially for the budget minded folks.

I really liked my stay in Sunset Inn as the prices were great. The staff was very friendly and they considered the needs of their customers. The rooms were clean and so was the outdoor pool. I am planning for my next vacation in malone and a stay at Sunset Inn. I would suggest this motel all others .

Me and my friends went on a golf package last year in Molane, and stayed in Sunset Inn. They arranged our tee times for us. The service was Excellent, the staff was friendly and cooperating. The rooms were very clean and organized. All the equipment in the room were working good. The envirnoment was Quiet and relaxing. I would recommend this place for golfers and others as well.

For those booking golf week-ends in Malone, don't use this motel. Last year they screwed up our tee times and we had to change the dates on our golf week-end.

The price was good but the room was full of flies. We asked cleaner for a flyswatter & she finally found the only one in the motel. After settling in we noticed that we were low on toilet tissue and after going out to dinner we stopped in the office to see about obtaining some. There was no one in the office. I checked with a young lady who was down a few doors from us and she said the owners go out at night and don't leave anyone in the office. In the morning I went to the office to obtain toilet tissue. The door was still locked (7:00 AM). I then went to our room and called the office. They said to come up to get toilet paper. We went up, banged on door, which was still locked, and no one came to the door. Finally went into town to obtain toilet tissue.

My daughter and I were visiting a friend in Malone and chose to stay at the Sunset Inn. It's appearance caught my eye. Booking for only one night,I found that the room was clean and fresh. I had the opportunity to speak with the woman that did the cleaning and found her to be both polite and very friendly. The price was great and the services better compared to another hotel that we had stayed at in Malone. We plan on staying at the Sunset Inn each time we visit Malone. Thank's for making us feel right at home.
