Price is excellent and staff courteous, but you do pay for what you get. Some rooms my party booked had no lighting in the rooms - they went out mid afternoon (when they didn't need lights) and came back to pitch blackness - needless to say a lot of them had some nice bruising!
Admittedly, when we asked the staff, they sorted the issue immediately, but this sort of basic requirement should surely be checked prior to any new guests arriving.
My other gripe is that I accidentally left my camera there. I have contacted them and they state they have it. I have offered to pay for any expenses to have my camera returned and they agreed. It is now 3 months later and nothing has happened no matter how much I contact them yest they still admit to having my camera! Hopefully, if they read this, maybe it will get returned?!

So, my advice is check your room FULLY on arrival to ensure it is adequate and ensure you pick up all of your belongings - if you do this, then you will enjoy your stay.

If you want a wholesome great family environment, run by an individual who really cares to make your vacation a memorable one then stay here. My kids and I had the best time of any vacation at this motel. Nice clean rooms with a rustic feel and multi "family" barbeques made this a truly unusual and enjoyable experience. That is why we are going back this year.

BTW: If you are looking for a five star impersonal snobby hotel this one is not for you.

Our stay at the Nancy lee was a very good experience. Lou was the best host me, and my family have ever met. From extra pillows to towels Nancy lees staff came thru every time.

Lou is the most trustful person I have met in the snobby Lake George area. Treated me and my family like one of his own. Thanks Lou for the great stay!!!C lean and quiet too !!!!

A great getaway location

For the past few years we have been coming to the Nancy Lee, and since Lou & Nancy took it over it has become a clean, well maintained motel We come from Montreal with 12 couples for the first weekend in August. The motel is convenient to Ciro's restaurant. Close to Lake George NY and Saratoga for the races. Very clean, competitively priced and pleasant owners. A great getaway location.

The price is excellent for what you receive. The location is great for motorcycle rally americade. The rooms are clean and well kept. There is Bandits right down the street from the Nancy Lee, which is a restaurant.
