We just stayed at Shore Meadows Motel. This is one of the nicest Mom and Pop places I have stayed. They have a free rowboat and kayaks to take out on the lake. Beautiful beach along with a beutiful view. Coffee on the deck in the morning was a plus. It is not a palace, but to be honest I would rather stay at this place than the Hampton Inn or other chain. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay on the Lake.

The location isn't a 5 star by any means.. But it's very cozy, and the owner (Pat).. A one woman show there.. did everything.. desk, housekeeping, etc. Very friendly, the grounds were immaculate.. Very nice beach area, lighted screened in gazebo, rowboat and a peddle boat to use. Stepping outside the room we were in, we had a very nice view of the lake, lawn, and beach area. The room consisted of 2 rather comfortable double beds, a mini refrigerator, tv - I believe a 19", and a small bathroom..with a tiny shower! Shower only.. And yes, it really is small. Very close to the village.. Can walk to the village, and just leave your vehicle parked at the motel. Free coffee in the morning is also provided at the porch area. The only real negative things I would pass on involved the bathroom. There were a couple of ants in the bathroom, which I believe entered through a screen that needed repair,and the bathroom door did not close all the way. Be sure to ask for different coupons at the desk.. Such as 10% off breakfast at a very nice restaurant just up the street, called the Tamarack Inn. I will definitely return to this motel. It is a very nice, small motel out of the way.. Away from the traffic and the crowds. But yet, very close to everything. Was very happy with the service provided, and couldn't have asked for a more friendlier, courteous, and helpful person in Pat. Enjoy your stay!

My family stayed at Shore Meadows Motel, we absolutely loved it ! Very close to the village, we could walk from the motel. Once we parked, we never had to drive our car again. It is not a chain, but it was cleaner and the owners are number one. Consider yourself lucky to be able to stay there! Can't wait to go back !...... Joe
