Smoking!!!
Our family (roughly 30 rooms) reserved many rooms for a family wedding in the Lake George area. We book through your service, but when we went to check in, the Quality Inn Lake George set us up in a smoking room. I complained about this to the manager and since we were staying on a Wednesday-Sunday evening, the manager moved us to a non-smoking room until Friday evening. Come Friday, we were told that we needed to vacate the non-smoking room and that we would be moved to a smoking room after they had performed the ""iodizing treatment"" to the room. Needless to say, the stench of cigarette smoke was still prevelant and we REFUSED to stay in that room. The manager was very adamant that his hands were tied because we did not request a NON-SMOKING room, which I checked with both this website and Lake George Quaility Inn and there was actually no place to request a smoking, or a non-smoking room.
