If you are looking for a great place to stay in Lake George, away from the crowded downtown area, this is the place you are looking for. Free wi-fi, TV, and a lot more great stuff. Almost hidden on the tip of Plum Point, you will find a treasure chest full of snady beaches, very clean and nice rooms, and just a fun time. Relax at the beach, or play some ping pong while your kids swim on the raft. It doesn't matter what you want to do, from live music by the beach, to nice clean rooms, this is the place to stay.

I will start off the resort was Ok website very misleading should think about renaming it!!Craig the owner very rude stuck up and not very friendly unless you have a guest you invited to come over for dinner (just for the day not a overnight)that was not on the list!! OOOPS over exceeded the limit of people!! (I will have to charge you extra!!) The owner pretty much barged into all the family dinners on the grounds and pulled me away and explain I have to many guest (BULLS--T) Any way did not have a good experience the Vacation was not pleasurable Left early I felt very uncomfortable HAWKEYE Craig was every where!!

Lake George is my favorite place, and Antigua is so beautiful. My family and I just came back from a long weekend, the leaves were beautiful, we sat by a bonfire each night, its very laid back in Lake George. The owner has been renovating the units recently, and i must say that some people who make comments that the furniture is outdated, I guess they have never been to some of the motels on the other side, now "some" of those are really bad, this place is clean and as far as the furniture I'm not buying the unit I'm renting it so what if something is outdated. Getting back to Antigua, for the price you get a beautiful location, full kitchen full bathroon, living room and two bedrooms, some units are larger than others, just ask Craig and Annie as to which unit would be best suited for you depending if you are a couple, a family with young ones or older couple they can tell which unit may be for you.
Anyway, just wanted to say thanks to Annie and Craig and Max too we had a wonderful weekend.

A lovely location is all this place has going for it. The list of complaints is lengthy. Among them are the staff is rude and unhelpful, website is misleading, no WiFi, no cell phone service, no HBO, filthy conditions, worn out furniture, way overpriced.

We had a wonderful time at Antigua!! Anne was great to us, she is very laid back... The views were amazing.. I loved unit 1, Perfect for a couple or two friends. It's family oriented, but also great for a group of friends who want to relax! The sandy beach was nice and fun for a great swim to the floating dock... I really had a great time and would go back :) Thanks Antigua for having us!

We just got back from another great stay at Antigua on Plum point. Now there is a covered picnic area with a brand new gas grill, new picnic tables and of course the charcoal grills are still there which we prefer anyway. Some nights we did not even leave the grounds because we were able to make our dinner and have after dinner drinks looking out onto the lake. Their son Max is a great kid and gets that bon fire started most every evening. Our unit this year had a brand new bathroom. We enjoyed our stay once again and look forward to returning this fall for a long weekend.

Lake George has a huge Antique car show every year and the area gets packed with people. All the hotels on the strip are booked and the last place we stayed was a strip motel 15 minutes from town. That place was a dump. My wife saw Antiqua Resort as we were cruising around the area and we decided to check it out for our next trip.

Pros:
The place is right on the water and has beautiful views from all around the property. The grounds are well kept and the rooms are nice and big. They have boat rentals. The location is also great since it's only a few minutes from town on the back roads with little traffic. The price is also very reasonable. They also had plenty of docking space if you have a boat.

Cons:
The swimming area was very small, but that could be because of the motor boats driving close to the area. The parking lot was very small and because of that I worried about my car being damaged. The rooms aren't 5 star but they are clean and well kept.

Overall this place was a great bang for the buck. This year I plan on going back and staying for a full week. I would definately recommend it.

Beautiful location....that is about it. The staff is rude. The rooms are very dirty with insects and rodent feces. The DVD player did not work, the AC window unit did not cool off the "suite". The beds are worse than sleeping on the floor. We stayed in the boat house...the decks shown in the pictures are for the resort to use. They are not private as advertised. People are allowed to walk on the roof of the boathouse. Extremely overpriced. I would not recommend this "resort".
