Recently I stayed at the grayhaven motel in ithaca we stayed in room 16. Iit was truly the cleanest room we had spent in a very long time. Although the front entrance floor needs upgrading. The colors were very dull on the bedspread and shams not matching the couch. Perhaps a more colorful coverlet and shams. The birds and feeders were a joy to watch.

Top Local Tips for Ithaca

Just a Taste Apart from the interesting concept of tapas, the quality of the cooking was delicious, and the wine flight selections were also a moderate opportunity to taste new and different wines!

Buttermilk Falls, amazingly beautiful, but watch out for ticks! On our second day in Ithaca, before we headed home, we decided to check out Buttermilk Falls State Park. I can honestly say I have never seen such a beautiful place! I grew up in Niagara Falls, and Buttermilk Falls is a million times more beautiful! It seemed like there was the most amazing scenery around every bend in the path. I didn't intend to hike as far as I did, but it was so amazing, I just kept going! What a gorgeous palce! I can't wait to go back! ---I do have to mention one negative though, there are many deer ticks to contend with. We are having a very warm fall in NYS, and ticks are still at large here! If you go here, especially with a canine hiking companion, USE TICK PREVENTION on your dog!!!! There are several products that kill ticks, use one, you won't regret it!!! It is absolutely worth seeing, but use precautions if you do, and you should, it is SPECTACULAR!
