Stayed here quite a few times, before and after the remodel. The owners are friendly and down to earth, they make you feel very comfortable and welcome. The rooms are a really nice size and there decorated beautifully. Compared to others I've stayed at in the area you get a lot more for your money with a small refrigerator, microwave and even bottled water in your room at no extra charge. They even offer a continental breakfast in the check in area. Outside an outdoor fireplace, a grill for cooking and a bar and tables for sitting with your friends if you feel like kicking back to enjoy a drink. Now don't get me wrong, it's not the Hilton, but if you like beautiful scenery and a relaxed and country friendly feel this is the place to stay. I've been visiting the Hammondsport area for about 20 years now and will continue to do so in the future, which will include staying here again in the fall.
