What a surprise! We stayed in the modern motel and couldn't believe the room. Beautiful, cozy, large and with a river directly behind room. The sound of the rushing water lulling us to sleep was amazing. Charming, cozy and just a great room.

Charming/Cozy
We were quite surprized by the quality of the rooms. We stayed in the main house and the feeling you get when you walk in is like you are in your Grandmothers house, everything is warm and cozy. It feels more like a bed and brekfast than a room. All the furnishings are real, not motel quality. The price was great, all this for around $65....the next closest hotel in Stamford was $129 for just a basic motel room! We would definitely stay here again and recommend you try it also...
