Gavin's is a nice place to bring a young family. The children's activities are wonderful and it is a nice atmosphere.

On the downside the hotel needs some updating, and the menu options are too limited (limited to 2 meat choices the week I was there). The children's menu also needs more than 1 option (chicken fingers should be a standard menu option). The food is just ok (the chicken dishes offered were not good).

I did not like that you would have to pay to have a refrigerator in your room especially since the the ice machine does not work.

The entertainment was good and my family had a nice vacation overall. I would just like to see the rooms and menu improved.

Easy to find...easier to enjoy. The service and staff are fantastic. Accommodations are fine. The entertainment and fun are unbeatable. The food was good and unending. The Guinness wasn't bad either. We'll be back for sure.

Nice and affordable place to stay. Was able to take off and hike all weekend and come back to a nice meal and a great room to stay in. Highly recommend if you are in the catskills.

We go there and basically don't see our older children all week. It is SAFE, SAFE, SAFE, and fun. Must add that the food choices and helpings are incredible.
