I held my company picnic at the Olympian Village taking 25 rooms (employees and their families) and having the Pot Belly Deli (directly across the street)cater lunch and dinner. The Olympian has a great view of the lake, a nice swimming pool, a recreation room with a fireplace for those cold rainy NY nights a vollyball court and baskeball hoop. LOTS to do for the kids, the staff was very acomodating and the POT Belly Deli was great to have across the street for all of your needs. They even deliver pizza.

I have been coming to the Olympian for over 5 years i have been coming since my parents had taken me for are vacation we have had but great thing to talk about the staff at the office was great they were kind and atentful to are needs we couldnt have been happier with are stay there! We are looking foward to many more stays with the staff and the owners Fred

Great Rates And Motel

I, and groups of my family members, have stayed at this motel for more than 10 years. This has been with old {Frank} new {Tom} owners. Since the motel has been purchased by Tom there have been many improvements, such as cleaning up the beach area, making changes to the centre or pool area and lawn. , new mattresses in the rooms, seal coating of the parking lot area, flowers and so on. We will be going there again in August 07 and I’m sure there will be more improvements since we were there in 06.We continue to go back, the new owners have made great changes as time goes on. See you all in August.

Dunkin Donuts?

We have stayed at this motel prior to the new owner taking over. We repeatedly come back to Lake George each year for the Americade Motorcycle event in June but since the new owner took over we have not been able to verify our reservations, no one calls you back or notifies you about your confirmation dates so you are out of luck. We have even left reservations with the on-site manager a year in advance. Guess this is what happens when the owner is too busy trying to run a Dunkin Donuts and a motel. I just hope he does not make coffee like he runs his motel!

Money talks & reservations walk

Their problem is they can take a reservation, they just don t know how to "HOLD" the reservation, and thats the whole idea behind a reservation, the holding, a 12 year old can take a reservation,& they know how to charge a credit card too..Our rooms were given to a bigger party,who needed 3 rooms,we only needed 2.You do the math, apparently they did.No Im sorry,No recommendations to another place, No have a good day, the worst part was my small children were crying, until i could explain to them we were not going home because of this, but it wasn t easy trying to find 2 rooms on a late friday afternoon. They were recommended by the Lake George Chamber of Commerce, so beware, a sure thing isn t always a sure thing....
