View is wonderful. Beach is small, & swimming area tiny and adjacent to boat dock & fishing area. Not safe for swimmers. My daughter befriended a young boy next door and was truly upset when the owners kicked him off the property. The kids had hoped to play basketball together. Not child friendly.

On the Grill bring plenty of goodies.............there is only so much to grill and not enough hours to eat : )

fishing, fishing & more fishing Lake George is known for Lake Trout. Don't over look smallmouth & largemouth while you are there. Explore the canals all over the lake because good largemouth numbers are there.

Perfect safe location to relax, go fishing, but is close enough to everything You'll find this resort quiet and somewhat secluded, but close enough to action in both directions. Theres a deli and bait shop right around the bend. Bolton Landing is a 10 minute drive north with beautiful shops, restauants, beaches, candy stores, kids toy store, veterans memorial, historic museums, food store; something for everyone! Be sure to vistit the Indian Tee pee store across the street from the Country diner (great breakfast), and the Antiques store (kind of set back behind a shop and down a driveway), that guy has it all! LG Village is 5 or 10 minutes south with more action and night life. Be sure to take the Thursday night fireworks cruise, but hold your childs ears as the boat horn sounds without warning, frightening them. Be careful pulling in and out the driveway to the Diamond Cove resort as it is comes up fast around sharp bend, somewhat of a blind corner. Obey 5mph speed rules as many children and guests frequent the drive way exiting their vehicles.
