Chelka: Bad News - Great Views
The views are the best. Bad news is the hospitality. The owner's have an uncanny ability to make you think about leaving earlier than intended. He is angry with everyone. Does not smile. Is confrontational and belligerant. They should not be in a business that requires them to interact with people.

This place is fab! My son was very happy and the incredible staff made my stay very enjoyable. There was much to do with the free canoe, rowboats and kayaks as well as the basketball and shuffleboard areas. There was a continental breakfast that could beat all others. The owners fabulous breads, muffins, and scones were to die for. I would line up at the door at 8:00am just to get a taste of the delicious chocolate chocolate chip muffins. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and all the rooms had a beautiful lake view. The Adirondack theme suited the lodge perfectly. I encourage everyone to book their vacation here if you are even considering about going to Lake George.
