Disappointing
Great if you don't need ANYTHING. If you do, service is better elsewhere. Rude, inattentive staff. Obnoxiously arrogant management. They don't get it. Just because the view is great, doesn't mean you should have to pay top dollar to be treated horribly.

Wonderful Thanksgiving weekend
My husband, 13 year old son and I spent Thanksgiving weekend at the Otesaga Hotel. We had a wonderful time, the atmosphere was beautiful, the dining was wonderful and there were activities throughout the entire stay for young and old alike. We especially enjoyed the hayride through the village pulled by Belgium Horses while sipping hot chocolate. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend staying at The Otesaga Hotel. We will definately return.

You get what you pay for
The otesaga is a VERY nice hotel. THe food is wonderful, and the location is nice. You are in easy walking (driving is difficult in cooperstown during the tourist season) distance to all the important areas of town. However, it is also very expensive, at some times too expensive as you could find a hotel even nicer at a better price in other places.
