My friend and I visit the motel once a year for the Hall of Fame Induction. I was amazed by the first review, the motel is nothing like that at all. The rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly and always greet you with a smile. It is a short walk into town and the town is full of historic charm. The motel is nothing fancy but who spends much time in their rooms when on vacation, it offeres all the necessities, clean bathrooms, clean comfortable beds, and friendly atmosphere. |

| Small and Clean |

This motel was wonderful. It is a great scenic historc village walk to downtown and the baseball hall of fame. I was very happy with the cleanliness of the motel and the information the staff was able to give about the town. Very helpful and nice place to stay for anyone! |

| Nice Place to Stay |
|
My family visits Cooperstown annually. We have been staying at the Mohican for over 15 years and have always enjoyed the staff and the service. The location is perfect for us because it is within walking distance of the downtown area. |

| Moldy & Old Dump |
|
This place was so moldy, we could not stay there. We barely walked in the doors carrying in our luggage and one of our family members became sick. We re-loaded our luggage in our vehicle, went back to the desk and explained that the mold was too extreme. The clerk stated that we would have to talk to the owner to get our refund. We left to find a new hotel and went back several hours later and talked to the owner. Celeste, the owner was rude and certainly not understanding in the least. She finally agreed to give us our traveler's checks back. Additionally, the room and the beds were small. The costs of 113+ tax per night was much better spent down the road at the Best Western. Think twice before staying at this old, moldy dump. |
