| A nice place to stay |
|
The motel has been completely renovated. Our room, while small, was immaculate. Any review prior to early 2007 should be largely ignored, as the new ownership has done an excellent job. While I didn't use it, the pool looked quite clean and well-maintained. I've made reservations to stay there next summer. This quite-positive review is not at the behest of the motel management. I have no affiliation with the property; I just want folks to know that the current ownership has done a very nice job of cleaning this place up. |

| Keep driving! |
|
My husband and I were on our way back to NH from MO and unfortunately our alternator gave out just as we were about to hit MA and we basically had to chug our way to the nearest hotel/motel. And even more so unfortunate it happened to be The Berkshire Spur Motel. We had to dish out $80 for the most sketchy looking truck stop I'd ever seen. I felt so unsafe leaving our vehicle there while we slept. Or at least tried to get a good nights sleep. The rooms look like they're from 1959 and smell like they haven't been cleaned since then. I was wishing I'd brought my own lysol and a clean pair of sheets. And, to top it all off, there's a bottle opener installed on the bathroom sink. Also, we found an empty 12 pack of beer, cans included, in the dresser. Apparently they do a good thorough job of cleaning the rooms after each stay. Do yourself a favor, and even if you're having car troubles...keep driving! |

Lots of truck drivers, and the occasional hooker. Needs dusting -- and renovation!

| Very Hospitable! |
|
We went for a weekend get away and were very pleased with the service and the motel. Everything in our room was clean and new. The new beds were excellent. The pool is new and very nice. We decided to stay an extra night we were so pleased. We booked our rooms already for next summer. |

| Run as fast as you can away!!!! |

This hotel stunk!! There was no wake-up call when I asked for one; however, the front desk clerk was kind enough to wake me at 3:00 am when I asked for 6:30 a.m, just one hour following my sign-in. ood going!! Sure make for a short night's sleep. A 13 inch tv with no remote control, coffee makings with no coffee maker, and all of this for the low price of $107 a nite!!!!! Would never return to this place, nor will I ever suggest that anyone else stay there. What a ripoff!!!!!!! |
