Terrible Customer Service and Extremely Rude Staff

I am utterly disappointed with the customer service and management of Twin Bay Village. The owners are highly disrespectful as they falsely accused my party of being non-paying customers. They approached my party in an extremely hostile manner with yells and threats in front of other parties that were also enjoying the nice weather. The owner emphasized that they try to keep good relationships with their customers. However after we pointed out to their rude behavior and our lack of customer satisfaction, the owner had the audacity to walk away without any determination to fix their performance as a business. I am displeased with the insincerity and lack of the politeness of the staff. I would not recommend this motel to anyone who appreciates quality customer services and management.

I stayed there with my family last year, and will never go back. The place has not been renovated for ages. Our room was dirty and smelled of dogs, beds were very uncomfortable, and the shower wasn't working properly. But the worst was the owners' attitude. They were very unpleasant, unfriendly, and behaved as if we were not welcomed to stay at their motel. Also, extremely overpriced for what they have to offer! I will never recommend this place to anybody!

My wife, me & our dog have been coming here for the last 6 years. It's clean, nice location, great view. The proprietors have always been accommodating to our needs. We brought our children &grandchildren last year. Twin Bay helped by getting all of us near each other. We also look forward to meeting new people and many of the same people who come to Twin Bay year after year. Thanx to Twin Bay for many memorable vacations.

We rented a cabin for 7 days but left after 3 and lost our money. I understood why they only accepted cash after we paid. The place smelled like cats, the toilet did not work, the refrigerator leaked water all over the floor, and the shower overflowed (I was told it had to be plunged). The beach is a boat dock. I tried to explain our issues to one of the ownerÂ’s daughters or daughter-in-law she had a bad attitude; not accommodating at all. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!

Terrible Place to Stay

Cramped quarters, minute beach, terribly noisy, obnoxious propritor, WAY over priced, cottages are reminescent of dog houses. There are so many other places on the lake that are much more beautiful and much more reasonable, with A LOT more to offer.

We stayed at the hotel for a week and we loved it. It's a great place for a family with children, they have a small pool for infants and very young kids, and the beach area is flat. The rooms are very clean. We walked into town almost everyday it's only about 1/2 miles or less, the staff was very helpful and freindly. I will stay here with my family again when I come to Lake George.

Feels Like Being In The Witness Protection Program

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights over the 4th of July weekend. We felt like we were in the witness protection program - the room we stayed in hasn't been updated since the 70's it seems. They provide towels only, no washcloths - we went to Walmart to buy one! Towels were s small and thin they didn't even wrap around us. There wasn't even a toilet paper holder - the t.p. was placed on the back of the toilet. We ran out of hot water when two of us took showers, the plug in the bathroom on the mirror didn't take my blow dryer prongs - I had to blow dry my hair in the bedroom so far away from the mirror I needed to wear my glasses to see what I was doing. The "beach" consists of about 15 feet of grass at the egde of the water - it was so crowded, I couldn't get my toes in the water. The office is closed at night so there was no one to call when the people in the room next door came back with a whole crowd of people banging on the walls and shouting outside the room at 1:00 AM. We reported it the next day and nothing was done - same thing the following night. The walls of the room are very dark wood, the lamps had dim yellow bulbs, the t.v. was so old there was no remote or sleep button - you have to get up and physically change the channels and shut it off before going to sleep. Just like when I was a kid in the 60's. I would not recommend this place - the best I can say is that the rooms were clean.
