Top Local Tips for Auburn

Packages Most package deals are excellent bargains. We were given a bottle of Dr. Kostantin Frank's wine (AT LEAST $10.00), plus two breakfasts, coupons and freebies for a mere $20.00 more than the room rate. Other packages might be better for you. The breakfast was both a convenience and a bargain in the package deal, and they gave us other freebies because we took a package.

Lots of wineries nearby The Finger Lakes has an increasing number of small wineries producing good white wines, and an occasional red. I think there are about 50 wineries. Makes a nice weekend.

good outlet shopping down the street About 15 minutes away is a very nice outlet mall in Waterloo, which boasts such shops as Banana Republic, Coach, Adidas and Ralph Lauren. Also, for a more upscale outing, try the town of Skaneatles, which is about 15 minutes to the east of Auburn.
