Watch the jug handles and the signs are horrible The street signs are very misleading. I got "lost" several times. For example, rt 202 south goes to the nearby train station. I got directions from the front desk, and thought I had followed them to the letter. 45 minutes later I had to stop and ask for directions - at a post office because none of the gas station attendants knew english well enough to explain. Later I found the mistake. The signs for 202 show 202 in the left lane. Only they have "202 south keep left", then 202 north going off to the left around a bend. Very confusing. All of the roads seem to have these kinds of confusing signs. Beware, and watch carefully! The jug handles are basically a clover-leaf arrangement to eliminate left turns. They are all up and down route 46. They are a real pain if you are not sure an intersection has them or not.

Get a good map - or better still, GPS This area is heavily forested, but at the same time, bounded by several very busy highways, so getting from one place to another can be a frustrating and tense experience. So I reccomend getting a good map and familiarizing yourself with the road networks.....or even better, a GPS.
