Top Local Tips for Newark

Newark Airport SuperShuttle If you think you can get to NYC from Newark after 3:30pm in less than 1 1/2 hours on a weekday...YOU ARE WRONG. The SuperShuttle wins points for patience of the driver in bumper to bumper 4pm traffic into NYC. It took about 1 3/4 hours. We got there...door to door service, (but ground transportation had wrong address for venue destination I had. I hadn't had time to print the address before I left and depended on Airport personnel to direct me. They got me downtown, but not to correct building.) Advice: If you have a 5:45pm appt in NYC, be sure to travel BEFORE 3:30pm! (An express train might have beat this choice for length of arrival time.)

WATCH YOUR BAGS dont check in luggage if at all possible because chances are people from the airline or tsa will go through it and take things.
