Stayed at the Trop many times and have only nice things to say. Rooms were always clean and very nice. Always had a quiet room and never had any sort of problem. The restaurants were good, as well as the Havana shopping area fun to browse. Entertainment always exceptional. Will be going back.

Recently stayed at the Tropicana Hotel in AC. Worst night of our lives. Big party going on next door to us. Started at 11:30 p.m and continued until we left at 9:00 am the next day. We called security four (4) times starting at 11:30 that night, and no one came up until 5:00 a.m. We informed them that they were literally banging on the walls screaming into their cell phones because they couldnt here inside the room. We informed them that there were kids who were actually urinating in the hallway. The next day went to from desk (livid), and they informed me they didn't know how that happened, since they have a zero percent tollerance policy. Never again. No wonder there going under.

I thought that this place was great. I and my friends went there to stay there for the wrestling tournament at city hall. It was very close to it, and it was such a cool hotel. You won’t find a better deal for a place as nice as this. They have this thing where it’s daytime inside when its night. Check it out!

We booked a room from a stay at AC but when we got to our "room", it was not at all what we expected. This room was for a handicapped person (raised toilet, no tub just a shower, etc) not to mention it was a non-smoking room when we requested a smoking room. To top it all off, the room was not even cleaned. There were used towels on the bed, a newspaper scattered around and the bathroom had toilet paper strewn about. We called the front desk and they told us we could go down to the customer service desk at the bottom of our elevator. When we got there, there was no one there except for a bewildered security guard. We ended up having to lug our luggage back to the front desk and then we waited about 10 minutes to see the manager. He gave us a new room but it was back in the same tower we had just come from. We demanded a room close by and he was able to accommodate us after some time on the computer. We did receive the room for free but what we had to go through, I would probably never go back again. For the price paid for the room normally, one would assume it was a decent hotel room. If I am spending $250+ for one night, it should be in a very nice room. The room we ended up in was no better than the Howard Johnson that I could get for about $175 less a night. We spend a lot of time in your casino, and expect to be treated a little better than what we experienced. Hopefully, this doesn't happen often to people but I can assure you that it would take a lot of convincing to get me to come back to the Tropicana in AC.

The Trop was the worst of the worst!

The hotel was under complete renovation. The room was not clean. The parking lot collapsed, valet service was horrible. It took nearly 1/2 hour to get our car out of the valet. After several years of staying there we had to say Bye Bye!

Nice, but could have been nicer

The room was very nice and attractive. Usually when I see resort, I think it will be more family oriented, for example, a kitchen. Other than that it is a very nice place to stay. A little far from the piers.

We had the opportunity of spending 2 days at the Tropicana together with our relatives visiting from London, England. They were delighted with the accommodations, staff and luxurious restaurants and casino. Unfortunately, they did not get a chance to see the new QUARTER as it was not as yet opened. We hope that when they return for another visit we will have the opportunity to stay at the Tropicana once more and see THE QUARTER with its beautiful shops and restaurants. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at THE TROP.
