My boyfriend stays here on business very often. When I can go too, I stay in his room with him. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I suggest that if you have a lot of luggage to use the valet and bell desk. It's a long way from the check in desk to the elevators then the halls are quite long.

Reno is a 24 hour city and the Hilton is a 24 hour hotel. It has a complete casino including a sports book and dining options also. The rooms are large and comfortable. The price you had made it a great value. Hitting for a $1,000 in the casino didn't hurt either.

I think it's one of the better hotel products in the Reno Area. It's close to the airport, has great restaurants and it's a well kept facility.

Reno, along the river Be sure to check out the river walk near downtown - really lovely and loads of fun for the kids.

Reno is a pleasant place to visit Reno is nicely situated near Tahoe. Even if you don't gamble, you can go to small-venue concerts, find fine dining, enjoy the mild, sunny weather, shop and visit local lakes, the Truckee river, the cheesy, quaint but fun Virginia City tourist town.

Animal Ark If you have a chance in Reno, visit the Animal Ark sanctuary on Deerlodge Rd., about 20 minutes north of downtown. Amazing chance to view animals (some exotic) up close, knowledgeable staff, and they are furnishing a home for animals who cannot be released to the wild due to injury, excessive human bonding, etc. Awesome desert valley setting, with super views, as well.
