Don't get sent across the parking lot
My husband and I stayed at the Atlantis this past weekend while attending a convention. I had booked a tower room. When we checked in the clerk tried to send us across the parking lot to the Motor Lodge. I told her I booked a tower room, but was told that all of the tower rooms were gone and the Motor Lodge was all that was left. We ended up speaking to the manager who told us that he would move us to the tower then next day and would comp the night in the Motor Lodge. The Motor Lodge is worse than any Motel 6 I have ever seen. The rooms are small and seedy and you can't turn around in the bathroom. The manager kept his word and moved us to the tower the next day. The rooms there are very nice. The best part is that upon checking out, we found that our entire stay had been comped. If you stay at the Atlantis don't let them send you across the parking lot.
