We did not enjoy' because we wanted a honeymoon room ' and they gave us one of bad rooms they got. Then we were forced to add money in order to get a decent room.

Top Local Tips for Las Vegas

Last minute deals If you don't like the hotel you are in (like me), try to book one while you are there. I got a fabulous room at the Westin for the same price as the Super 8 ($139) with much nicer accomodations.

The best month to visit. Mid April is a great time to visit Las Vegas. The weather is perfect with sunny days and slightly cooler evenings. Great for walking along the strip and visiting the beautiful hotels. You will also enjoy the shopping at the outlet malls without feeling the draining weather that appears in May.

ATM tip Casino ATM's charge a lot to give you cash. There is a 7/11 on the corner of Koval that has normal ATM rates. I'm sure other 7/11s and convenience stores are close by -- don't fall into the Casino ATM trap for up to $5 or more to get cash.
