Ample
Even though the hotel was being renovated at the time of our visit, it was enjoyable. It was set in the strip and everything was easily accessible. The rooms were spotless and large, with an amazing bathroom.
The down side was that when we first arrived the bell boy was reluctant to help, when the taxi let us off and threw our cases on the trolley. He then had the cheek to ask for a tip as it was someone else that would deliver our luggage to our room. You can guess the answer. We also had to call room service as the safe in our room was not operating. They said they would send someone up, we are still waiting.
However all in all it was a great stay. They are renovating the hotel and appear to re naming it Planet Hollywood. I would recommend this hotel for those that wish to travel on an affordable holiday to Las Vegas.

Best location on The Strip
My Hubby and I visited The Aladdin in July 2006 and it was hot - 117F! However, our lovely room overlooking the swimming pools was beautiful, huge and air conditioned to perfection! We could also the see tops of The Bellagio fountains from our room, The Eiffel Tower from The Paris, next door and our bathroom was very big and spotless. It is location where this hotel scores most as it is central in The Strip with shuttle buses running outside the door, all air conditioned of course. The "rainstorm, thunder and lightening" shows every hour were fascinating inside the hotel, also you were least likely to get lost at The Aladdin, which seemed to be the case in others we visited. Plenty of restaurants and miles of shopping in "The Desert Passage" all air conditioned. Helpful staff everywhere and the Casino was fun too! A booking facility in the shopping area gave informative choices of interesting things to do during our stay, including the magnificent Grand Canyon to visit, nearby.

Great Surprise
I have been to Vegas 3 times now and stayed at the Aladdin, MGM Tower Garden room and MGM West Wing room. The Aladdin is by far the best of the three. Although the lobby and check-in leaves you with a somewhat sour taste due to the fact that there is a very limited number of guest employees, the room was much more than I expected. There was plenty of space in the room and the bathroom (which makes or breaks a room to me) was enormous. The very large tub, seperate shower and marble throughout were fabulous. The staff was at times somewhat stand-offish, but I found this in practically every hotel I have stayed. The location is great, right in the middle of the strip. The only draw back was the view. I got a great look at the rooftop of the casino.
