Worst Hotel Experience Ever!
Having been to Las Vegas before, I was very excited to be staying at the Paris Las Vegas on this trip. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and gives you the feel of being in Paris. However this excitement quickly faded upon check in. Keep in mind I booked my trip for Memorial Day weekend 2006 in December 2005 which included paying for a full night as a deposit when I made the reservation. However when I went to check in, the extremely rude desk clerk (probably the rudest person I have ever encountered at a hotel) told me that the Paris Las Vegas was overbooked and my reservation had been moved to the much lower quality Bally's Las Vegas hotel next door. When I asked the desk clerk how they could possibly do this since I had booked the room 6 months ago and already paid for one night to hold the room, she told me that they can do what they want and it does not matter what deposit I paid or when I reserved the room.
