Don't stay here
I would have been better off staying at the mottle 6. The people are rude and very unfriendly. Noone was willing to help with anything. The only thing that was good was the buffet and the guy cooking the eggs. I would never stay here again.

Warm welcome
I spontaneously came to Vegas, and had booked the hotel from out of state. I was pleasantly surprised. I received a room upgrade. I wish I would have had a microwave or at least a refrigerator, but otherwise I was very comfortable and felt welcome.
When returning on a different occasion, staff did not seem as competent. One male front desk agent even wore both his earrings. I have mine pierced, too, but please leave those at home during business hours. It disturbed my first impression, it is ghetto, especially once this young man openened his mouth. But I would return for a stay

So VERY not impressed
I was disappointed. I booked online and it was farther from the strip than I had anticipated, (my problem not theirs). Shuttle service to/from the airport and the Strip was OK but the hours, especially near lunchtime, were inconvenient. I found the food in all of the restaurants to be just so-so, and these weren't the low-end buffet either.
A casino dealer was unnecessarily rude for no good reason - she started saying insulting things about me to the only other player at the table right in front of me! Strange since I hadn't done or said anything offensive, (I'm pretty quiet so I had hardly said a word), but I was winning. I got up and left the table and didn't spend another dime in their casino for the entire rest of my stay.
The ethernet cable in the room was broken and after about 45 minutes on the phone with four different people I finally got somebody who sounded like he knew something about computers and networks. I ended up doing a temporary fix myself, (removed a faulty e...Read more

Fantastic place to stay
Our first visit was Sept 04, we had such a great time that we returned Sept 05. We found the rooms very clean, comfortable and were surprised to find that even an ironing board and iron were in the room. What a great idea! The staff are the friendliest and most helpful people we have come across, from floor walkers, shop assistants and room service. We love where the hotel is located in between Down town and the Strip so provides easy access to either. We are aware that Palace Station is known more as a locals Hotel but we tell all our friends not to bother booking a hotel on the strip just go straight to Palace Station for the time of your life! We are counting the days until our return visit this year. See you all Sept 06.
