Really not a 4 star hotel!!!
We just got home from a 3 night stay at the New York New York Hotel and Casino. It was a very disappointing experience. We had reserved a non-smoking room with a king size bed. What we got was a smoking room with 2 double sized beds about 500 ft away from the only elevator that went to that floor. I woke up with a headache from smelling the smoky pillow all night so we requested a room change the next day. They had us move ourselves to a tiny room where only one person could walk around the room at a time. There was no table in the room and only one chair so we couldn’t order room service. My husband had a conference so I brought my laptop so I could do some work from the room while he was away. However, the internet connection was so slow (and I tried 100 times within 3 days from both rooms) I was never able to download or upload anything to my work. A place for everyone!
The hotel staff is friendly, the rooms were spacious and very clean, and the casino and restraunts are situated so you can find whatever you want quickly and easily! Great for the traveler that wants a hotel/casino that is elegant, fun and clean! Check out the decor!
