Top Local Tips for Las Vegas

Avis We rented a brand-new Dodge Grand Caravan from Avis. This was perfect for us as there were four in our party and there was no lack of room for all our luggage. Full insurance coverage is EXPENSIVE - almost $300 for 3 days. Use rental agency shuttles to get to & from the airport - it's free. By all means pay the extra for unlimited mileage if you're planning on exploring the area. It's well worth it.

Valley of the Fire OMG if you've never been,you gotta go! Only a 20 minute drive from the strip. You will think you have left the planet earth. Plan on making a full day of exploring and taking LOTS of pictures. Be sure to have plenty of water and take a lunch and snacks. Oh,and a full tank of gas. AMAZING PLACE
