Not even deserving of a rating of "one", This place is total dump!! Do not stay at this place. Dirty room. No garbage, clock, coffee maker. Shower didnt drain. Carpet was so dirty it made feet black and was coming up all through out room. You can hear other hotel guests next and above you.

The front desk staff are very casual and rude, including the manager. There was no such thing as customer service with the reception staff. There was certainly a lack of drive and motivation. HOWEVER there was a flicker of hope in the Hotel, and that was the shuttle drivers (Bruce in particular). He made up for some of the lazy and rude behavior of the front desk staff. As a result, my family, friends and anyone else I know and meet who are about to visit Las Vegas from NZ or Australia, I would make very clear to them just how we and 3 other groups whilst staying at the HJ at the same time were treated. This experience has turned us off Howard Johnson hotels period. Stay right away from there.

I made reservations on line and they charged my cc but there are no reservations. Trying to call anyone is a nightmare. I have never met such rude people in my life. Spend the extra money for a hotel not a what ever this is called. I will NEVER deal with a HJ ever again!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Worst hotel experience ever!

We will never stay at this hotel again and we would strongly recommend that no one go there!! First, we were never picked up at the airport and were forced to take a taxi. We called the hotel from the airport and let it ring 35 times. No answer. When we arrived they sent us up to our room and the bellhop could not get the card to open the door, so he simply kicked the door in. Upon entry into the room we noticed immediately that the room smelled very bad, the carpets were all stained and there were no towels and no soap in the room. Typically one would AT LEAST find towels and soap in their room upon arrival. We made several contacts with the front desk, requesting soap and towels, but nothing showed up that night. When we wanted to shower the next morning, we were told that 'when the maid gets them, you'll get them'. Just as snippy as that. Needless to say, we NEVER got our towels or soap. When we went to check out of this hell hole, we told the front desk person about all the problems we had been having and all that was offered was a 'sorry'. She didn't offer to compensate us, she didn't offer to find out who had failed so miserably on the customer service or contact a manager. Nothing. And when it came time for the bill, we had to fight the front desk person for a copy of it. We definitely didn't understand that. Our advice: Avoid this hotel like the plague!!!!

Worst motel ever

All I needed was a cheap and clean bed near the airport to rest during an extra long flight delay....I figured Howard Johnsons would fit the bill. The exterior of the motel is in serious disrepair, however they might be renovating because there were piles of used bathtubs and sinks in the parking lot. As bad as the exterior was, the interior of the room was worse. The tub was CRACKED and moldy, the sink handle was broken, and the security lock was broken. Plus the whole room was dirty and sour smelling. There didn't seem to be a lack of housekeeping staff, either. I was disturbed several times during the night by laundry carts rattling by my room. Why did I stay? At the time I'd been awake for almost 36 hours and I couldn't think straight. The bed appeared clean with crisp (although worn and frayed) sheets, and the need for sleep was stronger than my need to use the shower or sink. Which is just as well, because there were no bath towels in the room. When I checked out, I gave the desk clerk a list of the problems with the room. His response? "Good!" No apology, no offer to make things right, just "Good". Fortunately, I had the presence of mind to take photos, which I will be sending to the President, Mr. Ken Greene (1 Sylvan Way, Parsippany, New Jersey 07054) along with a request for a full refund. My advice is to stay away from this property.
