| HOTEL CLOSED!!!!!!! |
| And it should be! After checking in and putting our bag in we went to see the sights. We get back at 3 am and there is a line of guests at the elevator! Well the one they still had working wasn't and they didn't know what was wrong! The stairs were locked so we couldn't use the stairs. After waiting almost 45 min they finally unlocked the stairs so that we could go up. During that 45 min we were informed that the hotel was closing the next day 3-12-2007. A murder had happened there on Friday night 3-9-2007. Over 85% of the hotel had CLOSED signs on the doors due to health code violations! If we would have checked the hotel BEFORE checking in we would have forced them to find us another hotel. This kind of thing should not be let happen. The notices from Las Vegas Health Dept. were dated 1-30-2007! So why were they allowed to continue normal buisness?And it should be! MGM, Polo Towers, NY NY, Alladain, Excaliber, Circus Circus, Beellagio, Hilton, etc. The bigger the hotel the better! Oh yeah also the pics on thier website for the Golden Palm must have been taken when they first opened! Wallpaper coming off the walls, water stained pictures on the wall, floors that looked like they hadn't been cleaned in atleast 2 months even the bathroom, OH that was so nasty! I am so happy that they closed thier doors! The state should have done that in Jan! |
