Top Local Tips for Las Vegas

Choice cheap eats DOWNTOWN: gets a players club card at the 4 Queens and eat 2-4-1 Ribeye steak dinner or $7.98 prime rib or chicken fried steak dinner. Head to Golden Gate for the $.99 shrimp cocktail (with player club card) or hit the Main St Station buffet (get coup with players club card) which is probably the best value for the dollar. STRIP: Ellis Island behind Bally's for the $6.98 steak dinner w/fixin's including a microbrew; $5.98 midnight-6am ribeye & egg special at the Famous Victorian Room at Bill's Gamblin' Hall (old Barbary Coast next to Flamingo). I know there are numerous other bargains, especially graveyard meals, but these are quick, easy and good quality. Don't expect haute cuisine but a good meal for an outstanding price. That's value.

Tip If you are traveling with 3 or more people it is more economical to get a taxi then the expensive shuttles.
