Top Local Tips for Las Vegas

Why would anyone..? McCarran airport is an oversized, sleazy advertisement for all that Vegas does best (worst?) There are actually losers entertaining themselves at machines in the concourses. Careful at baggage claim - to left is $70 limo ride, but hidden off to right is a $23 cab ride. Keep your wallet locked and out of sight - everyone in the city is ogling it, or trying to.

If you come to Vegas with kids- Not many child care options at the casinos but there are a few in house places called "Kids Quest" that come in handy. Texas, Boulder, I think Santa Fe station have them. Orleans and the Palms have them. For 6.50 or so an hour, mom and dad can get some adult time while the kiddies burn off some energy in the fun mega maze - similar to Mc Donald's playland, but with more anemities and lots of stuff available for them.

The best show in Vegas Yellow Brick Road is amazing. The Best show you will ever see! They were the best part of my last jaunt to Vegas. If you are staying on the strip take a cab over to Boulder Station and see these guys. You will not be disappointed.
