My Fiancé and I were driving to California to visit his family and we stayed in this hotel for our first night on the road. Our dog has been on many trips before and has stayed in numerous hotel rooms before.

When we walked into the room we noticed first that it was rather cold. We checked the heat and it was set on 72. We turned it up to 80.

Once we lay down to go to sleep, the dog started up. She's never barked or growled in a hotel room before. She always sniffs around once and then goes right to sleep on the foot of the bed. This place was different. There were two beds in our room and we lay on the one farthest from the door. She kept growling and snarling at the bed next to us. Right at the floor of it near the pillows. We had to hold her back cause she'd start clawing at it. She was also staring at the chair next to the little table by the window. She wouldn't take her eyes off of it. Her hair was standing up all the way on her back and she was shaking. I've never seen her act like this since we had people break into our apartment a few months before. My fiancé went over by the table to see if there was anything on the floor and he braced himself on the chair. He jerked his hand back and told me that it was ice cold. It was literally six inches away from the heater ((which I said before was set on 80)).

I've heard before that dogs have a sense for these kind of things. I have never been more freaked out in my life. We went down to the office and asked to switch rooms. They gave us a new room which was directly under the one we were just in. It had the same set up with the furniture and everything else looked exactly like the one we were just in.

The dog did her routine sniff around everything once and then flopped down on the bed and went to sleep.





Now about the quality of the room....The beds felt like they had little crumbs all over inside of them and the bathroom didn't look like it had been cleaned in quite some time.

Never again.

We stayed at this motel on August 18th of this year. We didn't go to bed until late and let me tell you, the sheets were NOT clean. There were hair on the bottom sheet, you could smell someone else's body odor also. It was too late to go to the office and both beds were like that. You could even see where the people before us laid. It was awful!!!
