I work at the Iowa power plant and live partime at the American Family Inn. We have always recieved excellent service in all areas. They have recently come under new management and are doing a heck of a good job...
Me and quite a few of my partners would encourage any one to come see for your self

Very nice motel, close to everything the zoo is close enough rooms were nice size and clean, swimming pool is a plus, Staff was very informed of city attraction

Me and my family stayed at the American Family Inn during the week of June 25-30
The motel was very nice and the rooms were clean very reasonable rates I would very much return again and suggest it to any one traveling

I have really enjoyed myself in Nebraska our hotel was great!!!! We stayed for two weeks housekeeping was very accommodating the front desk clerks were super.
The pool was great for tanning. This hotel is great for the price and the beds are excellent!
Our honeymoon was a great thanks to the hotel staff and the sites all around the area.
I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice and cozy place to enjoy their vacation.

What a nightmare. This motel was dirty, run down, and disgusting. We made sure the kids never walked on the carpet barefoot. In 3 nights and 4 days, we never had maid service. The first morning, there was no hot water and the manager refused to talk to us about it. We had to steal clean towels off the maid cart that was left down the walkway from our room. They charged us double their normal rates because of the College World Series. They charged our friend (we had a group staying there) over $2,000 on his credit card and he is still trying to resolve.

Save your money - sleep in your car if you have to. Stay away from this dump!!!

There are way too many problems to mention here. Basically very dirty, no response from management, no cleaning service at all, etc. Not a family place at all!

Rooms dirty and musty smelling, lights not all working, security key not needed-doors unlocked all the time, no maid service, put trash outside of door and they moved it to the hallway for three days, had to ask for towels four times, finally found some on the maid cart, pool cold, continental breakfast was only donuts that they ran out of quickly-charged our group double normal fee....had to pay up front and then went to room and no refunds.

The suites did not meet our expectations of cleanliness. The lobby was very unkempt and the front desk staff was disorganized and uncooperative. Management refused to accomodate to our needs.

Traveling trip nightmare

Rooms were not cleaned, still had dirty towels hanging on the shower from prev customer. Owner/customer service unwelling to help. Doubled our rate for our stay. Mangement turned off a/c without our concent, after asking why...Front desk answer, owner said that our block of rooms (10+) was using up to much electricity.
Stayed 3 nights and 4 days, no maid service, had to ask and go to front desk for towels.
Adult magizines found in desk...
Motel ad says free breakfast, went at 6:45am, already out of donuts.
This hotel has hourly rates....
This was a nightmare stay, hope this comments helps from anyother family experience our stay.
