Top Local Tips for West Glacier
More time in the Park Lake McDonald boat ride is very magical. Our rafting trip was alittle too tame. We needed more time to explore the glacier at the rest stop on the jammer bus tour. Many Glaciers was very beautiful but not a whole lot of time and the dining room was alittle too old and fussy.
Hiking in the Park In the summer, you need to look for those hikes that provide some shade. You also need to take lots of water. Believe the signs when they tell you to beware of bears. You should have bear spray on all the hikes.
