Like an old seedy pub

We stayed in a smoking room as we always do when we stay at hotels but it really smelt bad, like an old seedy pub. This was on arrival. The whole corridor smelt of stale cigarettes. The room was unbearable. Ee went to the drug store and bought an air freshner for $8.00. We do both smoke and always have stayed in smoking rooms but this was terrible. We did complain but nothing was done. Proper venterlation should be provided or visitors should be able to open a window more than 6inches wide.

The hotel was terrible. We have an asthmatic child, reserved a non smoking room. We checked in and went up, opened the door, the room reeked of smoke as did the entire floor. The staff was rude when we IMMEDIATElY complained and requested a room change. We were told since we went to the room we had to pay for it! No one at hotels.com were available to assist us at that time even though they were responsible for our reservations. We left and found a different hotel. Never again will we make reservations thru Hotels.com or at a Baymont.
