On Monday, February 6, 2006. I had the chance to talk to Jamie who assured me she would find a way to resolve our problem. I had already called the franchise manager and left messages with him.
Tuesday, February 7, 2006. Miss Jamie left a message on my answering machine and told me there was nothing they could do since my items were stolen. The hotel was not responsible. She wanted me to return a call to her giving her the number of the police record to add to their files. Funny isn't it that the hotel is not responsible for theft of guest's items by their own hotel staff. Today,
Wednesday, February 8, 2006, I called the hotel to be greeted by Debbie Sims who refused to let me talk to Jamie. She hung up on me twice and let me know she did not care who I spoke to in the franchise office. Guess not. She has gotten away with lying and stealing peoples merchandise and her manager is allowing her to do it. The hotel will also not stand by their guarantee stated in the pamphlet in their lobby that if you are not 110% satisfied that your room will be free. So much for honesty. I guess that goes along with allowing your staff to steal. I must also mention that we were kicked out of the lobby on Sunday afternoon for creating a ruckus and bad-mouthing the hotel to guests. Only thing is over 90% of the guest was at the hotel for the same reason as us and we knew them. Finally, after showing loyalty to this hotel for the past several years this is how valued guests are treated. I will not let this incident be pushed under the rug. I would hope that after reading about our incident you will think very hard about staying at a Baymont
