My family and I stayed at the Baymont on Glenstone in Springfield, Missouri, this past weekend and much to our dismay the hotel staff went into our room and cleaned it removing our belongings before we checked out. After visiting with housekeeping that was on our floor at the time we were told that they thought we had checked out and apologized for taking our stuff. We were told our items were in the laundry room and travelled to that sport to get our stuff. We only found our diet cokes all the other items we had in the room were gone. Debbie Sims the desk manager came up with all kinds of reasons about why our room was invaded before we checked out and even said it was the right of the hotel to do so. She accused us of leaving our door open, then she said we had used the express check out. Which was funny because we still had the keys. She became very rude, disrespectful and distant.
