Lots of food options You can find great food in Kansas City, and not just ribs!

Art Abounds in KC I was surprised how much art there was in this city. I was told that 800 artists are employed by Hallmark and there is clearly more artists in the community than this. There is a 1% art tax in the city and all the buildings have amazing sculptures in green lots and lobbies. I recommend going to the AMAZING Nelson-Atkins Art Museum. There is a LARGE collection of Henry Moore's work spread across a 22-acre sculpture park. There are frequent art events. Check the local the alternative weekly news paper "The Pitch". Also, you can use the bus to get to most attractions easily. Buses comes regularly right outside this hotel (Parking downtown averages $10 per lot and street parking is hit or miss).
