We booked a cabin at Cascade Lodge online and were really excited about our stay there based on the picture and description we had seen. Once we arrived at our cabin there was a dead plant to greet us on our porch-which was in pretty bad shape. Inside the cabin we discovered warped furniture, one chair that had some sort of hair on it and a horrible smell. The online description didn't happen to mention that the view of Lake Superior was across a busy highway. We knew that if we stayed here, we would not have a good time and ended up leaving and losing our deposit. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!

Cascade Lodge... very nice place to be!

We had a great vacation experience at Cascade Lodge. Stayed in a log cabin with a fireplace that worked out perfect of us. Beautiful hiking trails and waterfalls nearby. Restaurant and lodge staff very friendly. I highly recommend it!
