Restaurants in Mt.Pleasant I ate at the Soaring Eagle buffet on the first night of my stay.It was convenient,but I was not thrilled with the food.There were a lot of choices,but much of the food looked as if it had been sitting out for awhile.Pretty bland,too.To be fair,the salad bar was large and had good selections,as was the dessert area.For lunch the next day,I went to the Brass Cafe in downtown Mt.Pleasant.It had a large menu for such a small place! At the suggestion of my server,I had a chicken/prosciutto sandwich that was fantastic! Good soup of the day,too.For dinner that night,we went to the Mountain Town Station,which is also downtown.The beer from the onsite brewery was good,as were the appetizers we had.I was disappointed with the actual meal,though.My beef brisket sandwich was very fatty,and my companions' meals did not look like anything special for the price.Soooo.....beware the casino buffet,stick to beer and appetizers at Mountain Town Station,and definitely go to the Brass Cafe !!
