We booked a Friday night room less than 7 days ahead of our stay, so we paid a higher rate since the Lansing area hotels were booked for a weekend event. During our stay, we were very disappointed to discover the:

• bed sheet and mattress cover was ripped
• bathroom sink stopper was broken
• room carpeting was ripped
• wall paper was coming off

When we checked-out, the gentleman at the desk asked, “How was everything?” When he heard our list of issues, he said he was not able to make an adjustment to the bill since a manager was not on duty.

We won't stay there again.

Top Local Tips for Lansing

Gilbert and Blakes Great meal and we would highly recommend this establishment. I had grilled seasoned salmon that was the best I've ever had. I also had a chocolate martini that was pretty good too. My husband had Seafood Alfredo and my son had Rootbeer ribs. They both enjoyed their meal as well. Service was top notch and would highly recommend if you want a classic high end meal at a fair price.
